Lori Schwartz is a licensed psychologist and certified sex therapist in private practice in Kansas City, Missouri. As a practicing psychologist for more than 20 years, she understands the challenges and frustrations that are often part of running a mental health practice. Throughout the years, she spent a great deal of time and resources trying to streamline her billing process while worrying about the financial security of her practice.
After an extensive search, Lori built a team of honest, knowledgeable billing experts who have increased her receivables dramatically … and they can do the same for you! Though she and her team have been assisting other practices with their billing processes for years, she founded Anchor Point Billing Solutions as a separate business entity in 2015.
In addition to running her practice and overseeing Anchor Point Billing Solutions, Lori is an adjunct professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, and currently teaches Human Sexuality at Johnson County Community College. She is a member of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Missouri Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Association.
La'Keita Hardaway
Co-Owner, Director of Operations
La’Keita Hardaway has a comprehensive understanding of both the day-to-day office operations of a mental health services practice and the various aspects of handling its billing. In her role as the director of Anchor Point Billing Solutions, she strives to make the onboarding process seamless for each new practice that becomes a client.
La’Keita relies on her knowledge of insurance billing codes, claims processing and the verification process to help clients get paid in full for services rendered. She also assists with informing patients of their financial obligations and handling inquiries in a professional, kind manner.
