As a Medical Billing Specialist at Anchor Point Billing Solutions, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our billing processes.

You will be responsible for:

• Verifying Authorization for Benefits
• Input of patient information
• Filing health insurance claims
• Following up on denials
• Ensuring the work of the mental health professionals are properly reimbursed.
• Supporting staff with administrative tasks as needed

You might be a good fit for this:

• Understanding of medical billing terminology (deductibles, EOB, Copay, Verification of Benefits, etc.)
• Ability to manage a variety of tasks (phone calls, computer data and email) efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of Microsoft Office
• Medical Billing experience is a plus

• Up to 30 hours a week, in office position
• Monday – Thursday 
• Fridays off
• Flexibility in schedule and as long as work hours are met for the week
